Kip Moore Leaves NYC Wanting More

By Paula Kunatee

Kip Moore’s Me and My Kind tour stopped in New York City and brought out the cowboys and girls hiding in the concrete jungle. For those lucky enough to upgrade their ticket for Moore’s private pre-show, were gifted more than the two acoustic songs they were promised. Taking requests from the crowd of about 100 fans, playing songs Moore called, “old school” to his latest singles like, “Backseat” and “All Time Low”.

While fans began to fill up the venue, they got a chance to hear two up and coming acts, Runaway June – the female trio of “Lipstick” and Jon Pardi – the singer of a number 1 hit single, “Head Over Boots.”

When Moore hit the stage the roar of the crowd’s excitement painted a smile on Moore’s face that lasted the entire night. The “Beer Money” singer rolled out, “Lipstick” (no not the same one sung by Runaway June), this time with his whole band. He sung all his popular songs from the last two albums and EPs, plus he covered a Jimmy Eat World tune!

Before the night ended, Moore made it clear he wouldn’t let anything stop him from touring especially in New York City! So make sure you get pumped up for him to be in a city near you! For dates, click here.
