On June 17 Mumford and Sons wrapped up their headlining leg of An Arrow Through The Heartland Tour with two sold out nights at Forest Hills Stadium. These two shows marked the start of summer concerts at the stadium. Fans made sure to arrive early to enjoy opening act, BØRNS. With a set that included a cover of “Bennie and the Jets” and their smash hit “Electric Love” its no doubt they left the crowd enjoying their suave vibes.
Mumford and Sons made their way to the stage and were greeted ecstatically by fans as they begun their set with “Snake Eyes.” The audience continued to passionately sing along to their older tunes such as “White Blank Page” and “Little Lion Man.” This day marked the release of their brand new EP, Johannesburg, which features Baaba Maal who also made an appearance at the show to perform tracks off the new record. They wrapped up the evening with crowd favorites “I Will Wait” and “The Wolf.”
